Minibar Attendant Job Description
Reporting to:Â Restaurant General Manager, Director of Food and Beverage
Summary of Position:
As a Minibar Attendant, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the Minibar refreshment centers and refrigerators in guest rooms are stocked with all of the items provided by our hotel.
Job ResponsibilitiesÂ
 Key responsibilities of a Minibar Attendant include:Â
 • Stocking minibar carts in preparation for shiftÂ
 • Taking accurate inventory of minibar and checking all products for usageÂ
 • Ensuring the guests are correctly billed for all items used/posting all sales properly into Micros system.
 • Communicating any discrepancies in number of items used to the SupervisorÂ
 • Ensuring minibar carts and products are always under supervisionÂ
 • Stocking minibar with items per standardÂ
 • Cleaning and organizing the minibar stock roomÂ
 • Responding in a timely manner to requests for amenitiesÂ
 • Informing guests how to request additional minibar itemsÂ
 • Addressing and responding to guests’ questions and concerns in a professional and courteous mannerÂ
 • Maintaining a complete knowledge and understanding of all minibar items
Job RequirementsÂ
 The minimum qualifications for the Minibar Attendant position are:Â
 • High School Diploma or equivalentÂ
 • Must be at least 21 years of ageÂ
 • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracyÂ
 • Ability to read, write and understand EnglishÂ
 • Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shiftÂ
 • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 70 poundsÂ
 • Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include nights, weekends and/or holidays
