About The Position

 We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting 06/02/2025. This opportunity involves working at a clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with general family practice, including treating common illnesses, performing physicals, administering vaccinations, and managing various routine health concerns. This role utilizes the Epic EMR system and offers the possibility of extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages

• Diagnose and treat common illnesses such as colds, coughs, and flu

• Perform routine physical examinations

• Administer vaccinations as needed

• Manage ear infections and other typical family practice concerns

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR

• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient care

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

• Provide patient education on preventive care and healthy lifestyles

• Stay updated on current family practice guidelines and best practices

Additional Information:

• California medical license required

• Experience in family practice setting preferred
