About The Position

Pediatrics Locums Assignment in California

Highlights

• No in-house requirement during call
• Low patient volume
• Long-term assignment available

Practice Setting

• Inpatient Level 2 NICU
• Supportive nursing and RN team onsite

Schedule

• 15 days per month preferred
• Minimum of 7 consecutive days
  • 24-hour call; 7 AM - 7 AM
  • 2-4 hours direct patient care per shift
  • Start date estimated for September 2025

Procedures and Cases

• Attend deliveries
• Respond to ED and nursery calls
• 3-4 patient encounters per day
• Mostly consists of healthy newborns
  • No circumcisions required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• BLS, DEA, PALS certifications
• Active California medical license
