Server

KYU is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our team and contribute to a remarkable dining experience. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction, and enhancing their overall experience at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Provide detailed information about the menu, including specials and recommendations.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to guests.
• Monitor and manage multiple tables, ensuring all guests are attended to promptly.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dining area and service station.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations.
• Uphold KYU’s service standards and values, creating a memorable experience for each guest.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area for service.

Qualifications 

• Previous experience as a Server or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a professional appearance.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and practices.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Chinese / Mandarin / English bilingual
