Objectives
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on, patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and treatments
- Document progress notes and comply with clinic protocols and standards
- Collaborate with a team of chiropractors, medical doctors, acupuncturists, Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) and massage therapists for integrated care.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, pain management, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document and submit records and Medical Necessity Reports when required.

- Patient Evaluation & Assessment β Ability to perform thorough physical exams and functional assessments.
- Treatment Planning β Develop evidence-based and individualized treatment plans.
- Manual Therapy Techniques β Skilled in hands-on treatments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
- Therapeutic Exercise Prescription β Design and monitor corrective exercise programs.
- Pain Management β Utilize a variety of non-pharmacological approaches to relieve pain.
- Documentation & EMR Proficiency β Accurate and timely charting using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaboration β Ability to work closely with physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and other providers.
- Patient Education β Teach patients about their condition, treatment plan, and self-care strategies.
- Communication Skills β Clear verbal and written communication with patients and team members.
- Time Management β Efficient in managing caseload and maintaining on-time appointments.
- Ethical Practice β Complies with California PT Board regulations and maintains patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Adaptability β Able to adjust to various patient needs and evolving clinic protocols.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the workday, Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to assist patients with exercises and mobility.
- Ability to lift, push, and pullΒ (e.g., assisting patients, moving equipment).
- Sufficient visual and auditory acuity to observe patient responses, read documentation, and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to assist with patient transfers and ambulation when necessary.
- Capable of sustained physical activity in a fast-paced, multi-provider clinic setting.
- May require occasional reaching and stretching to access supplies or perform therapeutic tasks.
