JOB TITLE: Support Specialist

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

HOURLY RATE: $23 - $24 per hour

REPORTS TO: Claims Supervisor or Claims Manager

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

To provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the claims team, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service through accurate documentation, communication management, and organizational support.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete forms, letters and other communications with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Set up and maintain paper and electronic files and databases
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently
  • Route internal and external inquiries to the proper source
  • Perform administrative tasks including expense processing, maintaining office supplies, and assembling certified mail
  • Handle copying, faxing, scanning and filing documents accurately and efficiently
  • Complete additional duties as directed by supervisor or manager

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school degree or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • 1+ years of office/clerical experience
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications required
