About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Practice for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in California. This 120-day assignment begins on 05/05/2025, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The nurse practitioner will be responsible for providing general family medicine care to patients of all ages. This opportunity also offers the potential for extension.

Provider Type Needed: Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide primary care services to patients of all ages 

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations 

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses 

• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate 

• Provide patient education on preventive care and health maintenance 

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers for patient care 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic/ochin EMR 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards 

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in California 

• Experience with Epic/ochin EMR preferred 

• Strong clinical skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
