About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in California. The assignment begins on 05/05/2025, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and two Saturdays per month from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The NP will be responsible for providing comprehensive family practice care, including treating common ailments such as colds, coughs, flu, rashes, scrapes, and burns. This role focuses on sick visits and patient assessments without procedures. The position requires comfort with floating between different clinic areas, and utilizes the eClinicalWorks EMR system.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive family practice care 

• Treat common ailments such as colds, coughs, flu, rashes, scrapes, and burns 

• Conduct sick visits and patient assessments 

• Perform thorough patient evaluations and develop treatment plans 

• Utilize eClinicalWorks electronic health record system for documentation 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records 

• Adhere to clinic protocols and safety standards 

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in family medicine 

• Provide patient education on preventive care and health maintenance 

• Manage a diverse patient population with varying healthcare needs 

• Demonstrate flexibility in floating between different clinic areas

Additional Information: 

• California state Nurse Practitioner license required 

• Strong experience in family practice essential 

• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks electronic health record system preferred 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work efficiently in a multi-specialty clinic setting 

• Flexibility to work two Saturdays per month and float as needed
