About The Position

Barton Associates is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in California. This 120-day assignment begins on June 2, 2025, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both adult and pediatric/family medicine scope. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. The position requires proficiency with Epic and OCHIN electronic health record systems. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages 

• Conduct physical examinations and health screenings 

• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses 

• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate 

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests 

• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic and OCHIN systems 

• Adhere to all relevant clinical guidelines and protocols

Additional Information: 

• California Nurse Practitioner license required 

• Proficiency with Epic and OCHIN electronic health record systems necessary
