The Warehouse Supervisor fulfills the mission of Hope the Mission by providing support to all departments by ensuring the Distribution Warehouse’s operations are run efficiently and effectively. The Warehouse Manager will oversee the receipt, preparation, and export of warehouse deliveries. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor will continuously analyze and optimize all processes and operations of supplies and warehousing needs to ensure quality, reliability, and timeliness.Â
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure warehouse floors are kept clean and free of content and debris
Ensure proper receipt, inspection, verification, and processing of all materials into the facility
Ensure proper storage of all items in designated storage areas
Responsible for weekly inventory and supply processing/delivery turnaround times, etc.Â
Creation and implementation of operational policies to improve and optimize warehousing processes with the ultimate objective of reducing turnaround times and improving overall workflow efficiencyÂ
Maintain, organize and issue inventory of approved supplies and equipment
Responsible for order processing, ensuring inbound and outbound orders get processed promptly.
Notifies Operations Leadership and Procurement Department of any discrepancies of materials versus shipper’s documentation.
Works collaboratively with the Procurement Department to ensure smooth supply operations and to address/resolve any supply issues that may arise.Â
Ensure maintenance team correctly utilizes all software correctly and adheres to any policies associated with said software (i.e. Â Precoro, ADP, etc.)
Works with Operations management and HR to resolve employee and labor relations issues.Â
Forecasts and reports any needs of the Warehouse Team and operation to the Operations Manager or Director of Operations for purchasing.
Provides input on employee termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.Â
Promote positive teamwork and safe working behaviors and environments.Â
Assists with personnel needs of the Warehouse Team including coaching, disciplining, training, and evaluating employee performance.Â
Reports all incidents and injuries to Operations Management.
Provides guidance and oversight of all House of Hope volunteers that assist at the Warehouse.Â
Other duties as assigned.

Valid Class C Driver’s License
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis
Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as boxes and reach overhead ● Daily lift and/or move, push and pull up to 75 pounds ● This position requires travel to multiple locations.

Communicate, receive and exchange ideas, information by means of the spoken and written word; Be mobile by moving oneself from place to place quickly and easily; Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers; Be able to have visual activity for (including, but not limited to) move boxes; Drive vehicle in and around Los Angeles County; Be able to enter various buildings that may require climbing stairs. Be periodically subjected to outside environmental conditions. Employee may work in proximity with service animals and emotional support animals; Use a pallet jack. Complete all required forms in personal writing.
Work Environment:
The employee may be in contact with individuals and families in crisis who may be ill, using alcohol and drugs, and who may not be attentive to basic personal hygiene, health and safety practices. The employee may experience a number of unpleasant sensory demands associated with the clients’ use of alcohol and drugs, and lack of personal hygiene. The employee must be ready to respond quickly and effectively to many types of situations, including crisis situations and potentially hostile situations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate in an office setting. Sometimes work may become stressful when working under pressure.Â
