Position Summary
The Order Fulfillment Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and expediting customer orders through the fulfillment process to ensure timely, accurate, and complete shipments. This role serves as the primary liaison between warehouse personnel, inventory control, transportation, customer service, and sales teams to facilitate efficient order processing and shipment execution.
The Order Fulfillment Expeditor verifies order accuracy, monitors fulfillment status, prepares shipping documentation, invoices completed orders, and ensures that all transactions are accurately recorded in the company's ERP system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•   Monitor daily sales orders and coordinate from order release through shipment.
•   Verify inventory availability and communicate shortages or delays to appropriate personnel.
•   Coordinate picking, packing, and staging activities with warehouse staff.
•   Review pick lists for accuracy and completeness.
•   Register completed pick lists and process order transactions in the ERP system.
•   Generate and validate shipping documents, invoices, and related paperwork.
•   Ensure all shipments are accurately documented before release.
•   Serve as the point of contact for drivers, warehouse personnel, and customer service representatives regarding order status.
•   Track priority and rush orders to ensure on-time fulfillment.
•   Resolve discrepancies involving inventory, order quantities or product substitutions.Â
•   Communicate fulfillment issues and delivery delays to various department heads. Â
•   Maintain records of shipments, invoices, transfers, and fulfillment metrics.
•   Assist with inventory verification, cycle counts, and order audits as required.
•   Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and warehouse operating practices.
•   Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to increase fulfillment accuracy.Â

Education and Experience
•   High School Diploma or GED required.
•   Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
•   Minimum 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping, inventory control, or order fulfillment.
•   Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
•   Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP system preferred.

•   Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
