Job DetailsJob Location: 340 HWY 68 - SAN JUAN PUEBLO, NM 87566Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: AnyPOSITION SUMMARY: Inspects rooms and assists guest room attendants in reducing errors made in daily cleaning routines. Trains guest room attendants in proper processes and insures that the highest standards of guest room quality are met. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for inspecting of all vacant guest rooms each day. Responsible for inspecting all cleaned check-out rooms after completions by guest room attendants to insure high quality standards are met. Coaches guest room attendants on proper procedures when errors are found. Responsible for random inspections for all cleaned occupied rooms to insure standard for these rooms are maintained and guest possessions are safeguarded. Responsible for identifying engineering problems during guest room inspections, prepares work orders, and forwards to maintenance for expedient repairs. Assist Guest Room Attendants if necessary. Responsible for performing other duties as assigned. QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent.  Hotel experience preferred, and must have a minimum of one-year housekeeping experience. SKILLS: Knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning materials and proper usage. Must maintain confidentiality.  Must be able to work in a fast paced environment SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Standard office equipment and cleaning equipment PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Able to list and carry up to 25 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS: Able to work in a fast paced environment. Requires constant walking, standing, bending, and climbing of stairs. Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
