Job Description/Responsibilities

Sazerac is seeking a highly driven and organized Credit Analyst to support the financial and operational risk across a defined portfolio. This role focuses on reviewing both new customers and vendors as well as completing systematic evaluations of existing relationships and exposures to strengthen and reinforce the Company’s risk profile. This role offers the opportunity to partner with teams across Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Commercial Operations while developing expertise in credit analysis, financial risk management, and business decision-making. This position is hybrid in Louisville, KY.

 

The position plays an important role in advancing Sazerac’s Drive for Results (DFR) culture by supporting company objectives relative to risk tolerance in the engagement of healthy partners ensuring strong counterparty relationships. The analyst will primarily focus on the domestic market, however, occasional interaction with the global team is within scope to support enterprise risk. The role partners closely with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement and Treasury business units to execute projects, track performance, and support optimal risk management

 

What You'll Do

  • Analyze customer and vendor financial information to assess credit and counterparty risk
  • Review new account applications and conduct ongoing portfolio monitoring
  • Track payment trends, credit exposures, and risk indicators to identify potential concerns
  • Support financial modeling, reporting, and exposure analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve credit issues and gather required documentation
  • Help improve reporting, processes, controls, and risk management practices

Qualifications/Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, accounting, credit, or financial analysis
  • Understanding of financial statements and fundamental financial concepts
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
