Production Technician Requirements

  • Strong mechanical ability and aptitude
  • Physical ability to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • Regular standing, walking, twisting, lifting, and bending throughout the day
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to use precision measurement tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving skills

 

Production Technician Responsibilities

  • Disassemble components, washing parts, drying parts, wire wheeling, lasering parts, and sandblasting
  • Reassemble components
  • Use test equipment to verify rebuilt components meet factory specifications
  • Identify known issues and apply critical thinking skills to determine potential new issues
  • Collaborate with a team or work individually to complete maintenance and repair on diesel fuel components
  • Follow procedures and identify needed changes to procedures
