M. Peppers is an exciting neighborhood French restaurant located in the Highlands. Focusing on traditional French cookery with local ingredients and a concentration on French and American wine and classic cocktails that pair harmoniously together.
Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled Bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences! As a bartender at M. Peppers, you will be responsible for crafting expertly made cocktails and discussing wine selections to enhance the dining experience. You will be a key player in creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and enjoy a premium beverage experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and engage guests with recommendations and personal interactions.
Prepare a variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, espresso drinks, and wine pairings. Attend wine classes to understand wine varieties and pairings, particularly those that complement our French menu
Operate the Toast POS system for accurate order processing and payments.
Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area.
Ensure compliance with Kentucky ABC alcohol-serving guidelines.
Assist in inventory management and minimize product waste.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment.
Collaborate with FOH & BOH teams for seamless service.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Address issues with guests or colleagues in a timely and calm manner ensuring a positive experience for all involved.
What We’re Looking For:
Bartending experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, and wine pairings (French wine knowledge is a plus).
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service.
Compliance with alcohol service and food safety regulations (STAR certification preferred).
Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, and moving for extended periods.
Lifting up to 40 lbs unassisted.
Working in a busy, dynamic restaurant environment with temperature variations.
