Division 08 (Door, Frame, Hardware) Engineer

Candidates for the door, frame, hardware engineer position should understand the fundamentals of reading and interpreting construction documents - blueprints, specifications, addenda, etc. Attention to detail is critical. Division 08 Engineer is responsible for creating accurate door, frame, and hardware submittals based on plans, specifications, addenda, and estimating paperwork.

In-house training will be provided to ensure the candidate quickly becomes familiar with company processes and procedures. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Candidates should possess the following qualities:

Basic computer software experience: Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook etc. PDF editing software - Bluebeam, Adobe, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Dependable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented
Exceptional Time Management
Proficient use of technology
Excellent problem-solving skills
Above average mathematical skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision and consistently meet deadlines
Team-oriented mindset with steady follow-through
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
