Are you a hands-on, experienced Field IT Technician skilled in hardware troubleshooting and installations? If you’re ready to spend most of your time on the road supporting small businesses in Louisville and nearby suburbs, we want you on our growing IT team!

Position Highlights:

  • Location: Louisville, KY (100 - 200 miles)
  • Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 annually + quarterly bonus
  • Benefits: Health insurance, paid time off, gas/toll/parking reimbursement,
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with on-call availability on weekends.

What You’ll Do:

Hands-On IT Support:

  • Install, configure, and maintain PC hardware, peripherals, and software for desktops, kiosks, and vending machines.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Microsoft Windows/UNIX hardware and software issues.

Fieldwork:

  • Spend over 90% of your time traveling to client locations to complete installations, provide updates, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Schedule and conduct B2B appointments for hardware or software placement and upgrades.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform wired and wireless network troubleshooting.
  • Document and communicate processes, procedures, and findings effectively.
  • Track and maintain equipment inventories.
  • Test new hardware and software for deployment.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years in computer hardware repair and field tech support.
  • Proficiency in motherboard diagnosis, repair, and Linux is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused approach.
  • Physical ability to move and set up heavy machines/kiosks/devices.

Requirements:

  • A car and a valid driver’s license.
  • Comfort being on the road 95% of the time.

Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
