Dinsmore is seeking a Practice Support Specialist at our Louisville, KY location who will support multiple attorneys in connection with general corporate work, litigation and bankruptcy matters.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Help to manage individual attorney calendars which could include scheduling meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements; learn departmental docketing system as necessary
  • Open and maintain client files
  • Provide clerical support to the attorneys and paralegals
  • Be trained to coordinate the monthly client billing process
  • Provide backup overflow assistance to legal administrative assistants as needed

 

Requirements

 

  • Candidates should have strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, be highly organized and possess a desire to work as a member of a team.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent word processing skills and intermediate-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software including electronic document management systems iManage/FileSite, PowerPoint, and Outlook a plus
  • Experience using attorney timekeeping and document management systems a plus
  • Familiarity with basic online resources
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to multi-task
  • Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Other duties as necessary
