Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity in La Grange, KY. This position offers moderate patient volume, flexible scheduling, and strong hospitalist support in a Level 4 Trauma Center.

Opportunity Details:

• Location: La Grange, KY
• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule:
  • Physician Coverage:
    • Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
    • Mid Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
    • Night Shift: 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
  • APC Coverage:
    • Monday – Friday: 12 PM – 8 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Minimum Commitment: Flexible
• Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume: 15,330 patient visits
  • 14 ED Beds
  • Level 4 Trauma Center
  • Emergency & Hospital Medicine Teams Respond to Codes
  • Transfers & Admissions handled per hospital protocol
• EMR System: Epic
• Travel & Lodging: Provided
• Temp Privileges: Available for providers with a clean file and active license

Patient Load & Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 1.75

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM Board Certified or Eligible
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted KY State License & DEA
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS
