Manager, Business Intelligence

Purpose –

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level reporting and analytics solutions across our construction operations and support areas. The ideal candidate has deep experience integrating ERP and operational systems, building scalable Power BI dashboards, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. This position will support both operational and financial reporting and requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical depth, and business acumen. This is a highly visible leadership role that will partner directly with Executive Leadership and functional leaders across Operations and Finance.

Duties and Responsibilities –

• Develop and execute the company’s Business Intelligence roadmap.
• Architect a scalable data environment integrating:
  • Viewpoint Vista (ERP)
  • Procore (Operations)
  • InEight (Project Controls)
• Design and oversee the development of a centralized data warehouse structure.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, infrastructure, and analytics technologies.
• Partner with Executive Leadership to define performance visibility needs.
• Develop executive dashboards.
• Translate complex datasets into business narratives and actionable insights.
• Design and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions.
• Lead training and drive adoption of BI tools across the organization.

• API integrations

Education and Experience –

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering
• Advanced experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization)
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience integrating ERP and operational systems
• Experience building BI functions or reporting frameworks from scratch
• Proven ability to translate data into executive-level insights
• Strong communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or heavy civil industries
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista, Procore, or InEight
• Understanding of WIP reporting, job cost accounting, and project controls
