What You'll Do

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair company vehicles, heavy equipment, and construction equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance services including oil changes, inspections, tune-ups, and scheduled maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they result in equipment failures or safety concerns.
• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns by performing repairs in the shop or at field job sites.
• Coordinate with operations and field leadership to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime on active projects.
• Order, inventory, and manage parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and service documentation for all company vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other maintenance and equipment initiatives as needed to keep our operations running efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment, and fleet vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose problems accurately and complete repairs efficiently.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair documentation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
