Job DetailsJob Location: TTG - Louisville - Louisville, MS 39339Position Type: Full TimePlant Controller Terberg Taylor Americas Manufacturing LLC 1131 Charleigh D Ford Jr Dr Columbus, MS 39701 Terberg Taylor Americas Manufacturing is a specialty vehicle manufacturing company focused on the production of terminal tractors in Columbus, MS.  We’re committed to excellence, innovation, and operational discipline, and we’re looking for a hands on Plant Controller to help drive financial insight, strong controls, and continuous improvement at our manufacturing facility. We are looking for a hands on, high impact Plant Controller to lead the financial management of our Columbus, MS manufacturing facility. This role drives operational performance, ensures strong financial controls, and partners daily with production leadership to improve cost, efficiency, and financial discipline. Duties Responsibilities: Leadership and Ownership Lead and develop the plant finance team; ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and robust financial processes. Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team and drive financial accountability across operations. Cost Accounting and Production Finance Own standard costing, cost rollups, variance analysis, and product cost accuracy. Manage WIP accounting, production orders, order settlement, and manufacturing cost flows. Monitor direct labor, overhead, and production efficiency with clear, actionable insights. Inventory, Controls, and Governance Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes. Ensure strong financial controls, asset safeguarding, compliance with corporate reporting standards, and audit readiness. Performance Management and KPIs Own the plant KPI reporting cadence, ensuring insights drive operational and cost improvement actions. Partner with plant leadership to identify and deliver cost savings and process improvements. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Close Lead the plant’s budgeting and forecasting processes. Support monthly close with accurate reporting, variance explanations, and performance commentary. Cap Ex and Strategic Support Lead financial evaluation of Cap Ex projects, including business cases, ROI analysis, and post completion reviews. Act as a trusted financial advisor to operations, supporting strategic, and day to day decisions.   QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:  7 to 10 years of manufacturing finance experience, including cost accounting and plant facing roles. Strong analytical skills, operational mindset, and ability to influence cross functional teams. Experience leading small finance teams preferred. Hands on, detail oriented, and comfortable in a fast growing manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, standard costing, inventory management, and variance analysis.  Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.  problem solving, and communication skills; able to partner with operations and supply chain.  Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.  Preferred Qualifications CPA or CMA.  Experience supporting CapEx justification/ROI and audit activities in a manufacturing environment.  Background in inventory controls/cycle counts and working-capital improvement initiatives.  Note: This job description is a characterization of the tasks to be performed and is not all inclusive.
