Overview
We are seeking a full-time Producer at Garmin's location in the Greater Denver area. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the production process in filmmaking or other commercial productions which involves arranging and managing every single stage and aspect, including talent, creative team, deadlines, executives, and finances.
Essential Functions
- Partner with account/project managers to plan a production schedule that is on time and before launch
- Creatively research assets needed for the production in advance of award
- Manage set construction, lighting, and sound plans
- Able to line produce locally and globally
- Take on more detailed/generate extremely detailed schedules/budgets, manage crew while on set and communicate clearly
- Make connections with industry representatives to stay fresh and on trend with production needs
- Coordinate entire production process, from idea to execution on C Level local projects
- Manage budget for each project/segment and negotiate with pre and postproduction companies
- Understand marketing processes
- Apply diverse knowledge of markets/products served
- Able to work along with the producer to develop concepts/ideas
- Conduct research, gathering information and knowledge, from available resources
- Active involvement in the creative side of the job by pitching ideas, helping to develop stories and scripts
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ substantially similar work experience
- Demonstrated Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management software such as Sprinklr or WordPress
- Must demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills
- Must be positive, detail/team oriented, a driven problem solver with proven success solving difficult problems, and a multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize and work proactively/effectively in a fast paced, challenging environment
- Excellent time management and follow-up skills with the ability to generate and support pragmatic solutions
- Previous experience working in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred.
- Photography/videography chops for pre, during, and post production activities. Ability to recognize composition details such as light, space, contrast, and hierarchy.
- Experience with AI creation tools, Mid Journey, Nano Banana, Sora, Firefly, Gemini, etc.
- Knowledge of Figma for visual design compositions and adhering to design systems standards.
