Seeking Registered Nurse for Cardiovascular Unit!
Full Time, Nights (7p-7a - every 3rd weekend rotation)
Bonus Eligible for Qualified Candidates
Join our team in the Cardiovascular Unit as a Registered Nurse, working Full Time, 36 Hours Weekly. This is a Progressive Care Unit that consists of 15 beds on CVI and 16 beds on CVU. CVI specializes in caring for patients pre- and post-cardiac interventions such as PTCA, cardioversion, and generator implants, as well as those with atypical chest pain requiring cardiac monitoring. CVU provides post-op care for cardiac surgery patients following open-heart recovery. Our RN's care for patients through their entire journey, from intervention to discharge. New graduate nurses are encouraged to apply. The Cardiac Nurse assesses patient needs, implements interventions, and maintains a nursing care plan to address those needs. Strong critical thinking skills are essential as nurses provide technical care and act as resources to guide patients and families through their cardiac journey.
Requirements:
Active Kentucky RN License
BCLS Required
ACLS Required
