The main objectives of the Sales Manager is to grow LINAK US sales while maintaining and enhancing LINAK’s business relationship with existing customers assigned to the Sales Manager. Ā Ā 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY:Ā Ā 

Maintaining and growing existing customers, while having a strong focus on establishing new customers and increasing the sales volume within an agreed territory/SBU. Ā  Plan and identify the fiscal year sales budget. Ā Manage a predefined list of existing/target customers, so that focus is maintained on meeting budgeted sales goals.Ā 

  • Identifying and soliciting potential new customers.
  • Primary contact between LINAK and Customer
  • Manages LINAK-Customer Sales Process
  • Meeting budgeted sales goals.
  • Planning and updating the fiscal year sales & competitor budgets.
  • Maintaining face-to-face interaction with key customers.Ā 
  • Attend and/or participate in tradeshows to promote LINAK products.
  • Tracking key customers and industry trends that will affect market growth.
  • Defines customer needs in LINAK product terms for new offerings
  • Responsible for quoting and pricing related activities between LINAK & Customer
  • Ensures commitment to LINAK process guidelines (i.e. CRM use requirements, order validation)
  • Develops and executes account level RAC strategies (both new and existing)
  • Manages communication with customers related to: Quoting, Opportunities (sales process), technical support and Quality related activitiesĀ 

Requirements:

  • College degree Engineering or BusinessĀ preferred or a minimum of 5 years of comparable sales experience required with some experience in the specific industry preferred. Ā 
  • Experience selling to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and/or application engineering experience with OEMs is necessary. Ā 
  • A strong emphasis on engineering and design is necessary. Ā 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Ā 
  • Professional appearance and the ability to speak comfortably in new situations. Ā  S
  • trong mechanical/electrical aptitude a must. Ā 
  • Willing to travel 12-15 weeks per year, both in the USA and abroad
