Manage and lead a diverse group of union employees, each group operating as a stand-alone business unit, but work collectively to support each other and operations across Appliance Park. This position supports and services the entire Appliance Park campus. These groups maintain the incoming electrical substation, all utilities to the plants, all vehicles, all grounds as well as spotting trailers in the Park. Plant Engineering and Support Operations (PE&SO) is a team management structure that utilizes hourly union coordinators to assign work and manage each group in day-to-day operations.Position

- Supervise ~15-person teams of skilled maintenance and/or production employees. Work with coordinators to assign work and manage daily operations.
- Service and maintain all Appliance Park utilities (electrical, sprinkler system, domestic water, compressed air, steam, natural gas, sewer, waste treatment and all drainage) to support production at 100%. Troubleshoot/guide maintenance work to facilitate effective repairs/upgrades.
- Must manage resources to achieve operational goals of total compensation, overtime, materials costs, and liquidations. Complete financial closing of all project costs at month end, maintain necessary records to facilitate. Track all work hours and materials in EAM and use information to liquidate work and promote efficiencies. Work with hourly coordinators to drive efficient work.
- Drive and create a safe and environmentally compliant atmosphere for all the groups. Â Most work areas are high risk involving electrical work, powered industrial equipment and work from heights. Â Must maintain and drive compliance for training, medical exams, and tracking of regulatory items.
- Comply with EHS and ergonomic requirements; utilize Human Organizational Performance (HOP) principles to ensure that all equipment / tooling / processes are implemented with the health and safety of the operators in mind.Â
- Responsible for management and engineering of mid-range projects related to work areas either with maintenance resources or contracted resources.
- Responsible for managing subcontracting process with maintenance group driving most efficient process for the company.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years’ previous experience in Manufacturing, Maintenance or Facilities.
Must be proficient in Excel
Ability to work in large cross-functional teams and at multiple levels in the organization (both salaried and shop floor operators/skilled trades team members).
Good communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership and ability to drive decisions based on the overall benefit to the company
