Sr Accountant - Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting

We are seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to support financial reporting and month-end close. This hands-on individual contributor role will prepare three-statement financials (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flows), prepare other periodic financial reporting, prepare ad hoc reporting, perform technical accounting research under U.S. GAAP, and support the accounting function generally through reconciliations and analysis. The role will also support accounting for international entities, including Germany and Canada, and help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain three-statement consolidated financials

• Support and execute the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting

• Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations, analysis, and supporting schedules

• Perform technical accounting research under U.S. GAAP and document accounting conclusions

• Assist with audit support and ad-hoc reporting projects

• Analyze financial results and investigate variances or unusual activity

• Support accounting for international entities, particularly Germany and Canada

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years accounting experience

• Significant month-end close experience

• Expertise with Netsuite, including report building. Implementation of new functionality is a plus

• Strong balance sheet reconciliation skills

• Demonstrated ability to independently prepare full 3-statement consolidated financials

• Experience with statutory reporting requirements. Experience with Canada and/or Germany is a plus
