The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for providing thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized instrument trays and equipment to various hospital departments. This position follows manufacturer instructions for use in all steps of the reprocessing cycle. This role accurately assembles trays according to established lists and uses decontamination and sterilization equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. In addition, this position can troubleshoot minor issues with sterilization equipment. This role actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set, ensuring proper wrapping for aseptic technique. Other duties as assigned.
 Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages.
Operates complex sterilization equipment, selecting the correct method of sterilization based on manufacturer instructions.
Reviews and signs all sterilizer recording charts to verify proper sterilization parameters before releasing items for clinical use.

Required qualifications:
High School Grad or Equiv
Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST)Â OR Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)Â
