Student Ministry Worship Leader-Blankenbaker campus
Partner with our Student Ministry team in carrying out the vision of developing a vibrant student worship culture that supports the mission of Southeast Christian Church. Shepherd, develop, and unleash volunteers to lead and share in that same vision & mission.Â
Essential Functions:
- Empower teams of volunteers to plan, schedule, and execute student worship services at the Blankenbaker campus.
- Provide pastoral care for students and adult volunteers.
- Recruit and develop student volunteers and adult volunteers.
- Host team nights; build culture and cast vision for serving in student worship at the Blankenbaker campus.
- Partner & serve alongside the student ministry in shepherding students and leaders inside & outside the walls of the church.
- Manage the upkeep of instruments, tracks, program supplies, production, setup, teardown etc.Â
- Be an active planner, creator and leader of student ministry programming elements (worship response elements, tangible takeaways, stage sets, etc.)
Our Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in ministry is preferred but not requiredÂ
- Experience in leading worship (minimum of 3 years)Â
- Demonstrated alignment with the SCC Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision, Strategies
- Engaged Member of Southeast Christian ChurchÂ
- Ordained Minister of the Gospel
- Solid understanding and ability to teach the BibleÂ
- Strong communication skills
- Musical skills and lead vocal abilityÂ
- Proven volunteer recruitment and training skillsÂ
- Strong work ethic/team player/collaboratorÂ
