We’re seeking a Trailer Program Administrator to support the day-to-day operation of Mercer Trailer Leasing, LLC’s trailer lease program. This hands-on role combines customer service, lease administration, trailer inspections, payment processing, report reconciliation, and coordination of repairs and documentation.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable explaining lease and payment requirements to owner-operators. Success requires strong follow-through, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with lessees, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
This position is onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct or support detailed trailer inspections following applicable DOT protocols and company procedures
- Explain the Trailer Program to current and prospective lessees, including lease terms, payment deductions, warranties, payoff requirements, maintenance responsibilities, and program expectations
- Prepare, review, and maintain lease agreements, signatures, inspection records, and related documentation
- Respond to questions from lessees regarding agreements, accounts, trailers, repairs, and program participation
- Prepare check requests and supporting documentation for monthly charges and other authorized expenses
- Reconcile financial and operational reports, research discrepancies, and coordinate corrections
- Communicate with internal departments, vendors, and customers regarding repairs, payments, documentation, and trailer-related concerns
- Monitor records for completeness and escalate safety, contractual, financial, or operational issues when additional review is needed
Who You Are
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong follow-through and record-keeping skills
- Mechanically inclined, with experience or practical knowledge related to trailers, vehicles, equipment, or maintenance
- A clear, professional communicator who can explain contracts, payments, warranties, and program procedures
- Comfortable working with owner-operators, vendors, customers, and employees across multiple departments
- Able to research discrepancies, solve routine problems independently, and know when to escalate concerns
- Confident using email, spreadsheets, document-management systems, and company software
- Able to handle financial, contractual, and customer information appropriately
- High school diploma or GED required; experience in leasing, transportation, equipment management, accounting support, customer service, or administrative support is preferred
- Able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, use standard office equipment, and lift up to 25 pounds
