Position Summary:Â
The role of a Shop floor Logistics Supervisor is to manage the internal flow of pieces, fromÂ
receipt to shipping. Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
• Ensure customer satisfaction: supervise day to day activities, anticipate customerÂ
requirements and maintain good relationships, manage the launch of newÂ
programs within the plant. Â
• Monitor logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions inÂ
coordination with other plant functions (Quality, Production System Efficiency).Â
• Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.Â
• Lead the Quality Cost & Delivery (QCD) Performance for designated groups: Â
• Direct QCD initiatives: set targets, implement plans, track daily results, makeÂ
appropriate adjustments in resource planning in order to attain desired results. Â Â
• Drive actions for improvement: communicate with the UAP Manager, ProductionÂ
Supervisors of other shifts, and support functions to ensure a transparent informationÂ
flow, collaborate to define improvement areas and action plans. Â Â
• Manage team performance: know team problems, define areas for performanceÂ
improvements with team members, drive teamwork, lead problem solving groups,Â
lead workshops on quality improvement (5S, TPM, 6M…).Â
• Manage the personnel issues of the assigned team: Â
• Ensure daily team management: assure appropriate headcount, ensure theÂ
respect of standardised work methods, assure presence on the floor to answerÂ
questions or address problems. Â
• Develop the team: ensure proper staffing, integrate new team members, fosterÂ
individual development plans, advise and arrange for appropriate training, assureÂ
punctual job evaluations, etc.Â
• Ensure that working conditions are fully compliant with Group HSE standards:Â
interfere in production line in case of safety risks and drive improvement of workingÂ
conditions and ergonomics.Â
• Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.Â
• Comply and reinforce the Code of Management and Code of Ethics as it appliesÂ
within the perimeter of Human ResourcesÂ

Education / Experience:Â
