Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a next-generation Restaurant Technology Platform, including Point of Sale (POS), Inventory Management, Labor Management, Makeline Optimization, and Driver Dispatch Solutions across our 3,000+ restaurant network.

This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader with a proven track record managing large-scale enterprise technology transformations within the restaurant or retail industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating across internal business units, franchisee partners, and multiple vendors to deliver a seamless, phased rollout that enhances restaurant operations, data integrity, and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of the enterprise implementation — from discovery and design through pilot, national rollout, and stabilization.

• Develop and manage the master implementation roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.
• Partner with functional owners (Operations, Finance, IT, Digital, and Franchise Services) to align priorities and ensure readiness across all markets.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams across POS, Inventory, Labor, Makeline, and Dispatch to ensure integrated delivery.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors (POS, labor, inventory, and dispatch providers).
• Oversee vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contractual deliverables, SLAs, and quality standards.
• Manage escalations, dependencies, and decision-making forums with clear documentation and accountability.
• Work closely with franchisee operators to ensure change management, adoption, and feedback loops are built into rollout plans.

Execution & Governance

• Establish and maintain detailed project documentation including RACI matrices, RAID logs, and deployment readiness scorecards.
• Track progress through regular executive updates, dashboards, and post-implementation reviews.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor invoices for multi-million-dollar technology investments.
• Partner with deployment and field teams to oversee pilot results, validation criteria, and phased expansion.

Change Management & Training

• Partner with Training and Operations teams to ensure robust deployment readiness, training materials, and communication plans.
• Drive alignment on standard operating procedures, process adjustments, and support models for restaurants and franchisees.
• Facilitate ongoing lessons-learned sessions to continuously improve implementation efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project/program management, including 5+ years leading enterprise-scale technology implementations in restaurant (QSR/Fast Casual) or retail environments.

• Proven experience delivering multi-system deployments (POS, Labor, Inventory, Dispatch, or equivalent restaurant technology stack).

• Strong vendor management skills and experience driving results across multiple partners and technical teams. Deep understanding of restaurant operations, system integrations (API/middleware), and franchise business models.

• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills; able to translate technical topics into business terms.

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall hybrid methodologies, program governance, and structured rollout frameworks.
