You will help maintain a secure environment through a visible presence, routine site awareness, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying identification, issuing visitor and contractor credentials, maintaining access records, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, inspect authorized deliveries in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
