Job Summary & Scope: 

The Server is responsible for creating a welcoming and positive dining experience for all  guests. This role involves greeting and assisting customers, taking and delivering orders,  and ensuring timely, efficient service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and  organization. As a key member of the team, a Server collaborates with other staff members  to provide excellent service and build customer loyalty. They should be personable,  customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to quality  service and customer satisfaction. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and set tables with meticulous attention to cleanliness, organization, and  presentation, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. 

• Greet and welcome customers upon arrival, providing exceptional first impressions  and fostering a friendly, inviting environment. 

• Present menus to customers, provide detailed descriptions and recommendations,  and assist guests in selecting food and beverages that align with their preferences. 

• Accurately take and serve customer orders while offering insightful suggestions and  responding to inquiries about menu items. 

• Collaborate seamlessly with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and bartenders to ensure  the timely and efficient delivery of food and drinks. 

• Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns with professionalism,  empathy, and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude. 

• Issue and present bills, process payments efficiently, and provide correct change or  receipts, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction. 

• Foster customer loyalty by promoting excellent service and building rapport,  encouraging return visits and positive reviews. 

• Demonstrate a proven track record of providing outstanding customer service,  creating memorable dining experiences. 

• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach, maintaining  patience and attentiveness throughout the service. 

• Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to ensure smooth service  operations and customer satisfaction.

• Build positive relationships with customers and co-workers, displaying excellent  people skills in every interaction. 

• Uphold a high level of responsibility and trustworthiness in all aspects of the role. 

• Consistently adhere to safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring a clean, safe, and  pleasant environment for both customers and staff. 

Job Requirements: 

• Proven customer service experience, with a strong focus on hospitality and guest  satisfaction. 

• Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism in all customer  interactions. 

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle  customer inquiries and resolve concerns effectively. 

• Hands-on experience in cashier duties, including processing payments and  managing cash transactions. 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented  approach. 

• A high level of responsibility, trustworthiness, and integrity in all aspects of the job. 

• Attention to cleanliness and adherence to safety standards in both food handling  and workplace organization. 

• A food safety training or certification will be considered a valuable asset.
