WOW Charge RN – 4 South Progressive Care
Weekly Hours: 24
Shift: Nights
Status:Â Part Time
The CN is an entry-level management position responsible for the coordination of care on designated shifts. He/she will provide leadership to the staff members of the unit in the area of patient care. The charge nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Also, the charge nurse will serve as a role model by actively participating in the process of continuous professional development, teaching and learning across the healthcare continuum.
Baptist Health Louisville has seven Progressive Care units in the main hospital: 4 South, 4 North, 4 East, 5 North, 6 South, 6 North, and 6 East. Each unit consists of 21 private rooms.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience
Active Kentucky License
BCLS Required within 90 days of employment.
ACLS will be required within six months for experienced staff nurses and within one year for new graduate nurses.
