Day in the Life
The Resident Enrichment specialist will be responsible for developing and facilitating recreational, educational, and social programs to improve the well-being and engagement of our residents, ages 2-25. This role is vital in fostering a positive, supportive environment where residents feel valued and connected.
Schedule:Full-time, 30 hours per week(10 hour shifts), potential for Part-time at 24 hours per week.

How This Position Contributes to Our Mission

Plan, organize, and implement enrichment activities tailored to residents' abilities, interests, and needs.

Coordinate special events, group outings, and holiday celebrations to enhance residents' social experiences.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support residents' physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.

Manage the budget for enrichment activities, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Train and supervise volunteers assisting with enrichment programs.
Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma; Associate's degree or higher preferred.

Experience in activity coordination, social services, or therapeutic recreation is highly desirable.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Creativity and enthusiasm for planning engaging activities.

Strong ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Experience working with children and young adults with complex medical, developmental, or emotional needs preferred.

CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
