QAE Logistics LLC. is a multi-state business engaged in equipment storage and logistics management, with an open position for someone to coordinate equipment deliveries and pick-ups. Basic duties include (but are not limited to) working with brokers, subcontractors, and warehouse crews to optimize transportation routes, specify necessary equipment, and resolve logistics issues. This is a salaried, exempt position that reports directly to the QAE Logistics Manager.
Job Title:Â Logistics Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate equipment transportation to ensure timely delivery to job sites.
- Utilize software systems, such as Smartsheet, to track shipments and analyze inventory data.
- Monitor the status of in-transit shipments and assist in documenting in-transit equipment damages/claims.
- Liaise with brokers and freight carriers to schedule logistics and plan efficient routes for equipment transportation.
- Work closely with LPMs and subcontractors to ensure that shipments are allocated correctly to intended job sites.
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Partner with QAE Warehouse Managers to report weekly logistics metrics pursuant to client meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Logistics, preferably focused on Shipping Operations and Reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail in processing documentation (Bills of Lading, shipping manifests, etc.).      Â
- Proficiency in data analysis and shipment tracking. Smartsheet experience is highly desirable for this position.
- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly resolve equipment transportation issues and scheduling conflicts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and clients.    Â
- Proactive, self-motivated, and ability to operate effectively with minimal direct supervision.
Education:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Â

New hire will be expected to work in office during 90 day probationary period. Upon completion, they will work in office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
