Travelling Groundman

At National Professional Services, a groundperson is responsible for driving work vehicles, collecting brush, operating equipment, assisting climbers, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring hazard-free work areas. This position is for a travelling crew that works out on the road 3-4 weeks at a time with 1 week off in between working rotations. 

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all maintenance duties allocated by the Foreman.
• Operate a chainsaw efficiently to cut brush, logs and stumps.
• Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions.
• Assisting climbers with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposals.
• Using the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols.
• Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Adhering to company and environmental regulations at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED. (Preferred)
• Previous work experience as a tree groundsman or similar. (Preferred)
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Drug-free

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.50 per hour + $50 per diem
