Securitas Security Services is seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to support a premier corporate environment in Lowell, MA. This is an opportunity to join a professional security team focused on delivering safe, secure, and welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and clients.

In this role, you’ll serve as a visible security presence while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Pay: $22.50 per hour

Schedule: Friday: 7am – 3pm, Saturday & Sunday 11pm-7am, Monday & Tuesday 3pm-11pm

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the property
Monitor building access and ensure only authorized individuals enter secured areas
Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols
Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and other security technology
Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with questions and access needs
Enforce site-specific security policies, procedures, and access protocols
Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns
Support emergency response and evacuation procedures as needed
Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Previous security, military, law enforcement, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
Basic computer skills and ability to complete written reports
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Valid driver's license
