About the Role

The Residential Lending Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Residential Lending team, assisting with loan workflows, file management, member communication, and office operations. This role plays an important part in supporting an efficient lending process while ensuring accuracy, organization, and a positive member experience.

What You'll Do

  • Support loan application intake, document collection, and loan file setup
  • Maintain accurate and organized loan files and supporting documentation
  • Track loan pipeline activity, conditions, and deadlines to support timely processing and closings
  • Communicate with members regarding documentation requests and loan status updates
  • Coordinate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams throughout the loan process
  • Perform quality checks to ensure loan files are complete and compliant
  • Assist with preparation of disclosures and loan documentation
  • Support reporting, scheduling, file organization, and general office operations
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to loan documentation and status
  • Provide backup support across lending operations functions as needed

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of banking, lending, or administrative support experience
  • Familiarity with mortgage lending processes and loan origination systems preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, we're pleased to share that the base range for this position is $27.30 - $32.50Ā per hour, excluding fringe benefits or potential incentives. If you're hired, your final base pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
