The Physical Therapist Assistant鈥檚 (PTA) overall responsibility is to provide care to the resident at the highest level.

Position Information

Location: Lowell, MA

Facility: CareOne at Lowell

Practice Setting: (Neurorehabilitative Facility) Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.

2.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.

3.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.

4.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.

5.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participates in all center directed processes and services.

6.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.

7.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.

8.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements

9.聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participates in in-service training programs as requested

10.聽聽 May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis

Position Requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Associate鈥檚 Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license within the state of operations.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
