Our client, an established commercial construction company, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee projects throughout the Philadelphia area. Most projects are located in Center City, with additional work generally within an hour of Philadelphia.

Key Responsibilities


• Manage daily field operations and subcontractors
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate trades
• Ensure work meets plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Enforce job site safety requirements and maintain OSHA compliance
• Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, and site logistics
• Communicate with project management, clients, architects, and subcontractors
• Address field issues and RFIs throughout construction
• Monitor project progress, documentation, and punch list items
• Assist with project closeout and turnover




Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of commercial construction experience
• Previous experience managing projects in the field
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it
• Strong communication and subcontractor management skills
• Ability to independently manage an active commercial jobsite from construction through closeout
