CDL Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, and flatbed operations. Also need the ability to load and unload equipment. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, and flatbeds, ensuring safe delivery of freight.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklifts or other equipment when required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered.
• Follow designated routes for delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatcher and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the trucking industry.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
