Hospice Marketer – Rio Grande Valley

The Hospice Marketer is responsible for building strong relationships within the Rio Grande Valley community to promote hospice services and support patients and families during times of need. This role serves as a key liaison between referral sources, healthcare providers, and our interdisciplinary team to ensure timely and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and community partners
• Promote hospice services through outreach, education, and community engagement
• Coordinate and facilitate patient referrals and admissions
• Educate patients and families on hospice eligibility, services, and benefits
• Serve as a liaison between referral sources, families, and clinical teams
• Track and report marketing activity and referral trends
• Participate in community events and networking opportunities
• Support continuity of care through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, hospice, or home health
• Established relationships within the Rio Grande Valley medical community (preferred)
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and referral processes
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
