Job DetailsJob Location: TX - Lubbock, TX 79415Education Level: 4 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Category: QA - Quality ControlJob Function:  Conduct and participate in activities that insure product quality and customer satisfaction.  Conduct quality system activities to insure compliance with applicable quality standards (IATF 16949:2016, MIL PRF 38535, Sony Green, etc) and customer requirements; to insure document control requirements and systems utilization; documentation and disposition of material waivers; understanding and system implementation as it relates to critical incoming materials including approvals of device Bill of Materials; system coordinator for internal Waiver and Maverick systems; coordination/administration and facilitation of activities related to internal scrap (line yield excursions); participation as lead auditor and audit preparation and facilitation/XFAB representation for certification, customer and corporate audits; participation and coordination (in particular for escalation customer issues) for customer issue/customer return management; Management of the failure analysis process and activities including inline, development, end of line and customer return analysis and metrics.  Overall improvement and compliance gap identification and problem solving to enhance customer satisfaction.  Presenting the quality system and quality data to other organizations and to customers.  Negotiating quality agreements with suppliers and customers.  Monitoring the quality level of products being used in the field including management of Reliability testing and conformance.    Responsibilities:  Customer Satisfaction as it relates to quality of the product and customer service provided to our customers  Interface and Management Representative as it relates to Quality and our Quality Systems with customers, certification bodies, corporate/global team and local management team  Insure compliance to IATF 16949:2016 including but not limited to XFAB continual improvement, compliance gap identification, management review and demonstration of this compliance to certification bodies and customers.  Leader of management review including scheduling, presentations, documentation and overall compliance to IATF 16949:2016  Quality metric reporting and continual improvement to local management, global management, customers and certification bodies  Working out, promoting and implementing quality improvement programs within the company, promoting advance quality planning for products and processes as well as the application of modern quality tools / methods such as target parameter monitoring, benchmarking, statistics  Develop and coordinate internal activities in support of quality system improvement initiatives.  Customer Issue Management supervision including event escalations with customers  Team lead of Material Review Board for non-standard/suspect material including but not limited to, Special Work Requests and Waivers  Review, Disposition and communication with customer on CSRs (customer specific requirements) including insurance of appropriate documentation and insurance of implementation of approved CSRs  Management of Supplier Quality Process including defining receiving inspections for incoming goods and incoming control systems and supplier evaluations together with the Purchasing Department and the specialist divisions concerned.  Insure incoming material system controls and disposition for new products, supplies, suppliers, etc.  Obtaining supplier and subcontractor audits, evaluating suppliers together with the Purchasing Department and the subject matter experts  Quality Management System documentation and document control including but not limited to annual reviews, incoming specifications management and document control  Supervision and insurance of compliance, risk mitigation and customer communication as it relates to the Change Management process  Supervision of the activities related to internal Scrap (Process Yield) system including facilitation, data request, follow up of actions for prevention and continual improvement and recordkeeping monitoring  Supervision and responsibilities as it relates to Audit System Management including participation as lead internal auditor and preparation and facilitation for customer and corporate audits  Management of the failure analysis process (and personnel) and activities including inline, development, end of line and customer return analysis and metrics  Monitoring the quality level of products being used in the field including management of Reliability testing and conformance (and personnel)  Working with Product, Process and Equipment Management and Engineers, customers, suppliers and other internal and external organizations to insure accomplishment of job requirements  Training needs and assessments as it relates to the Quality department and quality related training across the site  Supervision responsibilities including training needs, performance evaluation, continuous communication, metric tracking, accountability    QualificationsSkills/ Competencies: Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Ability to articulate information easily to technical and non-technical audiences Logical, data-based, analytical approach to solving problems. Meticulous recordkeeping ability and excellent organizational skills Knowledge of manufacturing standards and techniques Computer skills (MSOffice) including data analysis tools (spreadsheets, databases, etc).  Access skills preferred. Must have the ability to deal with mulitple concurrent issues with deadlines. Must be able to lead team activities including problem solving among engineering and management Ability to make decisions that balance quality, cost and delivery ultimately impacting customer satisfaction Ability to solve problems in a team environment Familiarity with quality system tools and auditing, including ISO standards, document control, FMEA, root cause analysis (8D, 5Why) Supervisor/Manager experience preferred Knowledge of semiconductor process manufacturing preferred Minimum Educational Requirements:  Bachelors Degree in a related and/or technical field (preference to EE, ChE and IE), quality certifications and/or equivalent quality experience
