About the Role:
Join Texas Recycling Solutions as a Heavy Equipment Operator/CDL Driver in Wolfforth, TX! This exciting opportunity allows you to operate heavy machinery while ensuring safe and efficient transportation of our products. Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and forklifts safely and efficiently, or be willing to be trained.
- Transport tires and other materials to various job sites using a commercial vehicle.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo transported.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize operations and enhance productivity.
- Participate in routine maintenance and repairs of equipment and vehicles.
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
