Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining mortgage lending relationships, originating residential mortgage loans, and guiding customers through the loan application process from initial inquiry through closing.  This position requires strong sales, underwriting, processing, and relationship management skills, along with demonstrated success marketing mortgage products within the Bank's geographic footprint.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of mortgage loan processing experience, including preparation of TRID-compliant disclosures.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of mortgage loan underwriting and loan origination experience.
  • Multiple years of successful experience marketing mortgage products within markets served by the Bank's branch locations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop referral sources and generate mortgage loan production.
  • Proven knowledge of residential mortgage lending, underwriting standards, and loan documentation requirements
Licenses and Certifications
  • Active NMLS registration and licensing, as required by federal and state regulations.
  • Ability to maintain eligibility under the SAFE Act.
