The Restoration and Construction Crew Member is responsible for assisting with restoration, repair, and construction projects related to residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, storm, or other structural damage. This position supports all phases of mitigation, demolition, cleanup, and rebuilding while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations. By joining our team, you will be part of a dynamic environment where your skills and efforts are appreciated and make a significant impact.   JOB DETAILS: Full-time Overtime as necessary Starts at $16 per hour Location: Lubbock, TX     WHAT WE OFFER: Uniforms Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life & supplemental insurance after 60 days of employment 401(k) plan with company match Paid Time Off after 180 days of employment Employee Discounts Company gym     ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The following statements describe the principal functions of this job and its scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.   Fire and Smoke remediation Boxing, packing, inventory and moving of Contents Content cleaning at job sites and at CT cleaning facilities Assist our Fire Restoration Crew with structure cleaning after fire/smoke damage. Providing quality services to return our customers’ homes to pre-loss status. Clean construction sites, remove debris & final cleanings Assist in demolition and deconstruction activities at job sites Assist our construction crew in daily activities Carpentry, minor framing, drywall and various punch list activities Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: Experience is beneficial but on-the-job training will be provided.   Fits within the company culture and works with a disciplined mindset Holds themselves accountable and has exceptional character Ability to communicate proficiently (written and verbally) with managers and team members Ability to remain goal-focused in stressful situations Ability to always maintain an upbeat and positive attitude Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task Must be results-driven and team-oriented Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a valid driver’s license Ability to work in all weather conditions Regular and consistent attendance Punctual and reliable Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, reach, and lift to 50 lbs required Ability to carry, push, and pull objects required Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time required Availability to travel out of town for day trips     EDUCATION: High School diploma (or G.E.D.)       Carpet Tech is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
