We are looking for a Seeds Processing Shift Coordinator to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Lubbock,TX.

As a Shift Coordinator you will work directly with the Plant Manager, and the Shift Supervisor assisting in the day-to-day operations of the de-linting and packaging plants and shipping and receiving in the warehouse.

During your shift as a Seeds Processing Shift Coordinator - Lubbock Texas, you will

  • Lead the team in day-to-day operations in packaging and de-linting plant.
  • Assist with inventory counts of chemicals, bags, and raw goods.
  • Actively participate in team meetings for shift change, cleaning, maintenance, and regulatory topics. Participate in all EHS safety related topics and initiatives within the site (ERP, Toolbox talks, audits, and safety inspections).
  • Communicate verbally or in writing to Supervisory staff the status of production, project, or function.
  • Maintain the plant monitoring programs and follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as they apply to the various processes of the facility.  To include annual review of existing and implementation of new policies or procedures.
  • Confirm treatment and packaging activities are conducted according to standards. 
  • Actively participate in variety cleans in all areas of the site to ensure SOP requirements are met, identify adequate training and mentoring of individuals, and confirm process equipment is ready for the next production run.

If you...

  • High School Diploma or GED or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, seed production, ginning, and seed conditioning or relevant farm/mechanical experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA’s PSM regulatory requirements (desired) 
  • Must have knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Team Leadership skills.
  • Knowledge and adherence of Safety (Responsible Care Preferred), Stewardship, and Quality Management systems. 
  • Organizational, Leadership, and Managerial skills.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence certification (preferred)
