  • We are looking for a Copilot Agent & SDLC Context Platform Engineer with over 10 years of experience in data engineering, workflow automation, or platform engineering.
  • The role involves designing and building the technical foundation for GitHub Copilot Custom Agents to enhance developer productivity and ensure SDLC compliance.
  • Key responsibilities include developing Model Context Protocol servers, establishing structured developer context databases, and implementing automated workflows around DevSecOps and code quality.
  • Candidates should have strong experience with GitHub Copilot, VS Code, and workflow orchestration tools, as well as proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • The salary for this position is competitive, reflecting the expertise required and the critical nature of the role within the engineering ecosystem.

We are seeking a Copilot Agent & SDLC Context Platform Engineer who will design and build the technical foundation for GitHub Copilot Custom Agents that support developers in achieving SDLC, compliance, security, and quality standards.
This role focuses on constructing the data systems, context layers, and workflows that allow Copilot agents in VS Code to operate with a deep understanding of our engineering environment.

You will build and maintain MCP servers, lightweight RAG pipelines, and structured developer context databases that provide agents with rich knowledge about code, requirements, architecture, traceability, and compliance.
You will further integrate these systems into the SDLC through automations, events, orchestrations, and workflow logic, enabling full visibility and actionable insights across engineering and tooling ecosystems.

This is not an AI model development position.
This is a systems, data, and workflow engineering role focused on assembling the context and automation backbone required for intelligent Copilot agents to significantly enhance developer productivity and SDLC adherence.

āœ… Key Responsibilities

Copilot Agent Development

  • Build and maintain GitHub Copilot Custom Agents, including:

    • custom instructions/personas

    • skills, tools, hooks, event handlers

    • integrations with internal APIs, databases, and SDLC systems

    • agent workflows to support SDLC, compliance, security scanning, and quality gates
